About the TIGER Study
The TIGER Study is a global multicenter prospective study designed to map the patterns of lymph node metastasis in esophageal cancer. By collecting detailed surgical and pathological data from institutions worldwide, we aim to establish evidence-based guidelines for optimal surgical lymphadenectomy.
Understanding which lymph node stations are most frequently involved in metastatic disease — and how these patterns vary by tumor location, histological type, and patient factors — is critical for improving surgical outcomes and long-term survival in esophageal cancer patients. The TIGER Study addresses this knowledge gap through standardized prospective data collection on an international scale.

Apply for Membership
Submit your institution's application through our online portal. We review applications from accredited surgical centers with experience in esophageal cancer resection.
Register & Enter Data
Once approved, register your team and begin entering patient data through our secure electronic case report form (eCRF). Training materials and support are provided.
